This is a video from September to November 1994 that captures mainline railway action from Buffalo, New York and area on the Conrail Water Level Route. Also shown are trains from the South Buffalo Railway, Norfolk Southern and the New York Western & Susquehanna Railroad. As well, the video continues in Southern Ontario and mainline trains are documented on CP’s Galt Subdivision at Wolverton, plus CN trains are captured in the town of Paris and at Bayview Junction in Burlington. Additionally, CP trains are shown at the West Toronto diamonds and the video concludes with a return to the Buffalo, New York area with several Conrail and NS trains filmed. This footage was captured by former CN employee, railfan, videographer, photographer and model railroader Al Wendt and is copyrighted and used with permission.

Grand Trunk Western (GTW) SD40-3 5954, SD40-2(W) 5328 and SD40u 6014 are seen from the Highway #7 overpass after setting off cars at CN's MacMillan Yard in Vaughan, Ontario just north of Toronto. GTW 5954 was built as CN SD40 5185, before it was eventually sold to KCS and became KCS 6637. May 31, 2026.
