Motocross, Vtt De La Lièvre


C’est la première fois que je suivais du monde sur une p*ste avec mon drone. J’y suis allé avec l’idée de tester comment mes 2 drones, et moi, se débrouillent dans ces situations. J’ai utilisé mon drone de 5 pouces et mon Pavo25 qui fait 2.5 pouces. C’était vraiment incroyable, p*s je suis reconnaissant d’avoir eu l’opportunité de faire ça!

J’utilise une DJI Osmo Action 1 sur mon Pavo25 V2 avec des moteurs à plus bas KV. Pour la stabilisation, j’ai utilisé Gyroflow avec les données blackbox de mon drone. Par contre, c’est clair que j’aurais besoin d’une meilleure caméra pour la stabilisation, parce que le processus était quand même assez gossant p*s ça a pris du temps. Même après ça, il reste encore des petites vibrations des fois. Mais à part ça, j’aime vraiment le résultat!

Dans la vidéo, vous pouvez voir les talents incroyables d’Alexis Hudon et Félix Hudon. Ils sont vraiment habile, c'est impressionnants!
J’ai aussi vu d’autres personnes avec des talents de fous, mais malheureusement j’ai eu des problèmes de stabilisation avec mon drone 5 pouces, ce qui était une première pour moi. Avant ça, j’avais fait plein de tests pour être sûr que la stabilisation marchait bien, mais bon, c'est des choses qui arrive.

Peut-être que je vais y retourner cette année, même si j’habite maintenant à 5 heures de là lol.

This is the first time I've actually followed people on a track with my drone before. I went there with the idea of testing how my 2 drones and I do in situations like those. I used my DIY 5-inch drone and my 2.5-inch Pavo25. It was amazing, and I'm grateful for the opportunity I've had!

I'm using the DJI Osmo Action 1, on my Pavo25 V2 with lower KV motors. For stabilization, I've used gyroflow and the blackbox data from my drone, though it's clear that I'd need a better camera for stabilization cause the process of doing that was rather annoying and took a while, and I still get some vibrations some times. But outside of that, I love how it turned out!

In the video, you see the amazing skills of Alexis Hudon and Félix Hudon. They had amazing talents!
I also saw other people with insane talents, but unfortunately I had some issues with the stabilization using my 5-inch drone, which was a first for me. Prior to that I had done many tests to make sure the stabilization was working well, but I guess it happens.

Maybe I'll return this year, even though I now live 5 hours away from there lol.

Cette formation de glace paraît mystérieuse et très intéressante, d’autant plus qu’elle semble être apparue de nulle part, en plein milieu de la forêt. Elle s’est essentiellement formée durant l’hiver, à l’endroit où ils ont installé une source/un robinet public pour que les gens puissent venir chercher de l’eau gratuitement.
Pour empêcher le tuyau de geler, il projette en permanence de l’eau à assez forte pression, ce qui crée une fine brume et accumule des couches de glace pendant l’hiver, jusqu’à ce que cela devienne une énorme formation glacée ressemblant à un iceberg !

J’ai eu un été assez mouvementé, où j’ai enregistré pas mal de choses avec mon drone. Voici la première chose que j’ai filmée le printemps dernier. J’ai encore un stock d’images filmées avec mes drones qui doivent être stabilisées et montées. Mais pour l’instant, ma conclusion est que j’ai besoin d’une nouvelle caméra pour éliminer certains tremblements et stabiliser mes vidéos plus efficacement.
Actuellement, je stabilise en utilisant les mouvements enregistrés par le drone, puisque ma caméra actuelle (DJI Osmo Action 1) ne prend pas en charge l’enregistrement interne des mouvements. Cela rend la stabilisation beaucoup plus difficile à réaliser et complique la synchronisation de la vidéo avec les données dans Gyroflow...

This ice formation looks mysterious and very interesting, especially since it seems like it came out of nowhere in the middle of a forest. It essentially grew during the winter, where they've installed a water source/well tap for people to come and get water for free. To prevent the pipe from freezing, it's constantly shooting out water at a rather high pressure, which creates a mists and accumulates an ice layer during the winter, until it becomes a giant ice berg looking ice formation!

I've had quite an eventful summer, where I recorded a bunch of stuff with my drone. This is the first thing I recorded last spring. I got a backlog of footage recorded with my drones that have yet to be stabilized and edited. But for now, my conclusion is that I need a new camera to get rid of some jitter and stabilize my footage more efficiently. I'm currently stabilizing using my drone's recorded movements since my current camera (DJI Osmo Action 1) doesn't support the internal recording of movements, which makes the stabilization much harder to do, and synchronize the video with the data in Gyroflow...
