Everyone should be fortunate enough to have a Winifrey in their life. Generous to a fault. The hypest of hype men. A true connector who cares so much about community. And the people’s Mayor of Calgary (don’t hate me for that one). The world would be a better place if there were more Winifrey’s around. Our best intentions are turning out to be more problematic than helpful so I am deleting my black square and replacing it with something that aims to make a measurable difference.

Tomorrow is and our boy and his wife will be donating $1 for every km you run (up to $1,000) to . The fine folks at will also be matching those donations. I will be running tomorrow for this cause and will be adding an additional donation in an attempt to increase this initiatives impact.

Back by popular demand, Stay Home Sessions will be continuing in late May! Originally the Stay Home Sessions started as a pilot project for the month of April but it turned into such a huge success that we decided to carry it over into the later part of May. Our goal is to raise an additional $500 to support the amazing organization as they continue to assist children and families in our city who require mental health support. That’s a huge job, especially right now. We hope to connect with rad couples and families in the next few weeks and take a few snaps for charity so if you are interested hit up the link in the bio or slide into the DM’s. With the support of our incredible community, we have raised $2,500 for to help them provide mental health support for children and their families during this time of tremendous need. They are an organization who cares deeply about family and it is only fitting that we were able to fundraise by connecting with so many kind and loving families all over Calgary. Social distancing is necessary right now but, as you can imagine, this has had an impact not only on our business but hundreds of charitable organizations in Calgary.

It had me thinking, what can I do? This is where the Stay Home Sessions came to be. I’m not claiming credit; the idea wasn’t even my own. But if you book a Stay Home Session, 50% of your donation will go to Woods Homes – a children’s mental health centre that provides treatment and support to children, youth and families with mental health needs. I feel this is a very critical service for our community and one that can use our help.

So here’s the deal; let me come to the front steps of your home and take some beautiful photos of you and your family – all from a very safe distance. They can be from your front door, the drive way, the porch, or sidewalk. We can kick it in your PJ’s, jeans or that old prom dress that’s been hanging in your closet for the last 20 years. The options are actually endless and I personally promise that the photos will be some the most memorable of your entire life – runner up only to your wedding day and the birth of your first born.

The second annual Outdoor Classic pond hockey tournament is a wrap! We had an incredible time documenting the event on behalf of the 22 teams participating in one of the raddest events of the year. So blessed to be a small part of such a huge event and be able to connect with so many amazing people from all over North America. Hoping we can run this baby back next year!

Photo of the Rad Boiz 10 years ago. Ask these two clowns where they would see themselves in 10 years and you would be hard pressed to get a serious answer. Look at us now! It’s fu***ng wild to consider how much we have accomplished in the last decade. It’s even crazier to consider that a lot of what we accomplished we managed to so do together. So here’s to looking forward to the 2020’s and another ten years of connection, community and hijinks. De mans dem rad, you get me fam?!
