Well how times have changed. My family and I embarked on a new adventure in a new town in another province! As we welcome this new change moving to another province was a big step. Thank you to all of my amazing clients who followed me and worked with me for the past 8 years. I appreciate all of you, all of your support and all of your special moments. And now I begin the adventure of capturing memories in Alberta and can’t wait to become a part of an amazing community!

It’s been really quiet on this page and not because I have wanted it to be but because of this years craziness. This year has been challenging for many, and I know how hard it has been for all! Normally this time of year is one of my busiest times as I get ready for my traditional Fall and Christmas minis. The excitement builds as I wait to capture photos of all my dearest friends, families, and new clients.

This year though it’s different.... it’s quiet, it’s worrisome, and it’s unusual. For the safety of all this year, the first year in 5 years, I will not be doing my scheduled mini sessions. Not because I don’t want to see how much the kids have grown or the beautiful smiles and laughter I get to see and hear year after year. But because, I value everyone of you, your health and your safety.

As many of you know, I work in the education system and am around many different people everyday. I also have an amazing family with two kids in school as well. This puts me in a position of massive exposure and though my heart breaks putting my camera on the shelf for this year, I can’t justify the possibility of spreading this horrible virus to anyone.

This is not forever, I promise you! I have spent countless hours this summer capturing beautiful sunsets, chasing the stars, floating down rivers and listening to the crickets as I fall asleep. I have taken so many photos of my adventures and really spent hours digging deep to capture beauty of all things. So I want to thank you, all of you, for being my amazing followers, clients, and closest friends. And reassure you that though I may be quiet I am still here perfecting the perfect shot, so that when this dust settles, rest assured I will be there!

I wish all of you a happy, healthy, safe and calm end to this year. And will see you soon, to capture the sweet smiles and the candid moments.
