Been working on something a little different… 🚗📸

A Photo Cruise concept — rolling through a few scenic spots, shooting rollers, stills, and creating something more cinematic than your typical meet.

This is something I’ve been building out with CDN JDM, and we’re both really excited about the idea of turning it into something solid 🔥

This will likely be a few months in the works — we want to do it right.
That means driving routes, talking to local businesses for meet spots, and planning it around a solid weekend 👀

Still in the early stages, but I want to see who would actually be interested in something like this 👀

Also — I want to hear ideas from you guys.
Locations, routes, shot ideas… anything you think would make this even better 🔥

AND… might need someone with a solid setup (seat + harness 👀) or even a minivan I can rig a harness into for rollers… otherwise I might just be hanging out of Ol Green doing 🤣

Some photos don’t hit you right away.
They just sit there… quiet, waiting. 🌫️

I took these two years ago and honestly?
They didn’t speak to me back then.

Something about them felt unfinished… like I hadn’t caught what I meant to see. 🖤

But coming back to them now—
with a different eye, a different mindset—
they finally said something. ✨

And maybe that’s the point.

Not everything is meant to be understood in the moment.

Some things need time. ⏳
Some things need distance. 🌊
Some things need you to grow into them. 🌱

Now I see it—
the stillness, the movement, the little in-between moments I almost overlooked. 📸

“Maiden voyage.” 🚁

First flight. First test.
And the beginning of something way bigger than just a drone.

Spent Sunday chasing light, shadows, and motion while Blake put his FPV build to the test — and I swear these feel like stills pulled straight out of a film.

There’s something different about watching someone bring an idea to life from the ground up… wiring it, tuning it, trusting it enough to finally send it into the sky.

This is just the start of Triple Bravo (BBB) — and if this is what the first flight looks like… you already know it’s about to get wild.

Since spring is slowly approaching us 🌱

The snow is melting, the days are getting longer, and the world is starting to wake up again. Out here on the prairies that means muddy backroads, golden sunsets stretching a little later into the evening, and the return of photo season 📸

Spring is one of my favourite times to shoot. Everything feels fresh again — new stories, new memories, and the perfect backdrop of blooming fields, soft evening light, and wide open skies. It’s the season where everything starts moving again, and there’s something really special about capturing that energy through the lens.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a session — couples, grads, families, or even something creative and a little wild — now’s the perfect time to start planning. My goal with Timeless Shade Studios is always to create images that feel moody, timeless, and full of story, not just photos you scroll past.
