🌈✨ There was a lot of colour and sparkle in the 1980’s & 1990’s; whether it be cartoon bears that send rainbows flying, a toy that glitters and lights up, or a Disney movie with beautifully hand drawn sparkle and shimmer (like the Fairy Godmother’s wand and Cinderella’s dress).

🧚🏼‍♂️ One of the greatest influences for me, was the movie FernGully: the Last Rainforest. It showcased nature in a way that you couldn’t help but love it - be mesmerized by it. The glowing fairies had you following their every move as they protected the forest from industrialization. When Crysta asked, “can’t you feel its pain?” I could feel the trees pain.

💚 I feel immensely for wildlife and nature (***controversial moment*** more so than humans), and more and more I can feel their suffering. So I guess I’m hoping that my photography can spark something in another human. Remind them of the magic and importance of every piece of nature. We need to protect it. We need to save it … Before it’s all gone.

🌸 What do you think of when you see pink?

Girly, Soft, Delicate, Precious, Princess… 💗

I was never much of a pink fan, (with the exception of the musical Artist).
But I think that’s because it doesn’t look good on me. I’m an Autumn, so pink is not a flattering colour for my skin tone. But when I see a pink flower…I’m in awe. I think they are the most gorgeous flowers; whether it’s a poppy, cornflower, tulip, rose, dahlia, lily…etc. Pink blooms, in my eyes, are stunning!

For me, pink equals elegance 💖 and I’m becoming rather obsessed with it.

The ‘ber months have arrived! 🌻🍄🍁❄️✨
Don’t get me wrong, I love Summer - I love photographing all of the beautiful flower blooms and spending the day by / in the pool. But… I LOVE the crisp air of Autumn and Winter. I love the coziness of the fall colours, of sitting by a fire with a good book and a cup of tea and my dog curled up at my feet. I love the magical beauty of snow glittering as it falls from the sky, and the warm hug twinkle lights provide.
