If you’ve ever wondered what a summer wedding at Elsie Perrin Williams Estate feels like, this was it.
The forecast kept teasing us with rain all day, but somehow the clouds held off, leaving us with warm sunshine and one of those golden July evenings that everyone hopes for. The only challenge? A full-on Ontario heat wave.

Karoline absolutely nailed it with a wedding dress that looked effortlessly elegant while keeping her comfortable throughout the day. Kyle, on the other hand, powered through the heat in a full tuxedo... because when you’re marrying the love of your life, looking your best is simply part of the job.

One of our favourite parts of the day was their first look. It gave them a chance to slow everything down, spend a few quiet moments together, and explore the beautiful grounds of Elsie Perrin Williams Estate before the celebration really began. From the stone pathways and towering trees to the iconic front steps, every corner of the estate offered another beautiful backdrop for their story.

As guests gathered for the ceremony, the excitement only grew. There were happy tears, plenty of laughter, heartfelt speeches, and a dance floor that stayed full well into the evening. It was one of those wedding days that felt relaxed from beginning to end, with everyone simply enjoying being together.

M+B sharing sunset portraits at Elm Hurst Inn & Spa during their summer wedding in Ingersoll, Ontario.

Some wedding days just seem to flow effortlessly, and this was one of them.

From the moment we arrived, the sunshine never left. Family and friends gathered on the front lawn of Elm Hurst Inn & Spa to celebrate M+B, creating a day that felt relaxed, joyful, and filled with genuine moments from beginning to end.

After an emotional outdoor ceremony, we wandered the beautiful grounds for portraits before everyone came together for an evening of great food, heartfelt speeches, and a packed dance floor. As the sun began to set, we slipped away for one last portrait session in front of the iconic Elm Hurst Inn & Spa, where the golden light gave us the perfect ending to an unforgettable day.

Rachael & Kevin sharing a lakeside kiss after their wedding at Trillium Resort & Spa in Port Sydney, Muskoka.

Sometimes wedding days don’t go exactly as planned, and sometimes they turn out even better because of it.

When the weather arrived just before the ceremony, the incredible team at Trillium Resort & Spa quickly transformed the indoor fireplace room into a beautiful ceremony space. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Rachael and Kevin exchanged vows with everyone simply happy to be together and celebrating the moment.

And then, almost as if on cue, the skies cleared.

The rest of the day unfolded against the backdrop of pristine Muskoka forests, sparkling lake views, and the kind of summer evening every couple dreams about. We explored the property, captured portraits by the water, photographed one of the biggest group photos we’ve ever taken, and watched as everyone settled into a celebration filled with laughter, hugs, and unforgettable memories.

To finish the day, Rachael fully embraced the moment, stepping into the lake in her wedding dress before returning to shore for a kiss with Kevin. The perfect ending to a wedding day that proved the best moments are often the ones you never planned.

Tara & Curtis sharing a quiet moment with Cinnamon during their summer wedding on the family dairy farm in Elmvale, Ontario.

What a beautiful day this was.

Friends and family travelled from all over to celebrate Tara and Curtis in the place they call home. From emotional moments during the ceremony to laughter-filled speeches and golden summer light across the farm, every part of the day felt personal, meaningful, and full of joy.

And then there was Cinnamon.

One of the farm’s most beloved residents happily joined us for portraits, creating some of our favourite moments from the day. These are the kinds of memories that could only happen at a wedding like this.

This past Saturday in Toronto, Yen and Don gathered their favourite people at Park Hyatt Toronto to celebrate a day that felt joyful, personal, and full of love.

The whole day felt warm, joyful, and beautifully present. Every guest seemed so happy to be there with them, and all the thoughtful planning came together so smoothly.

Their ceremony with Sunny by their side was such a sweet touch and made the day feel even more personal.

Yesterday we had the honour of capturing Kristin and Zak’s wedding at the beautiful Embee Gardens in Scotland, Ontario. Their vision for the day was simple and meaningful, to be fully present with their guests and celebrate without interruptions.

They chose a relaxed, documentary-style approach, where every moment unfolded naturally. Apart from a short 10 minutes for family portraits and a few quiet photos together, everything was captured as it happened; real laughter, tender glances, and all the emotion of the day.
