2026 = trying new things.

This year I promised myself I’d step outside of my comfort zone… even in small ways. So I booked a one-on-one makeup tutorial with

And let me tell you — I didn’t want glam.
No heavy contour. No dramatic lashes.
Just a simple, everyday look with real techniques I can actually recreate.

The best part? She did one side of my face while teaching, and then I had to replicate it on the other side myself.

As someone who doesn’t wear much makeup, keeping it light and realistic felt important to me. We skipped lashes this time (baby steps 😉)… but who knows what I’ll try next.

Growth doesn’t always have to be loud. Sometimes it’s just learning something new and allowing yourself to be a beginner again.

Truth moment—this past weekend’s Elevate Style & Confidence workshop was a huge step for me. I’ve always been someone who likes to stay behind the scenes, so putting myself out there like this was way outside my comfort zone. But I’ve learned that nothing grows in a comfort zone, and this season is all about stretching myself.

And let me just take a moment to shout out —not only for pushing me and encouraging me but also for putting up with me when I wanted to run for the hills or call the whole thing off. She stuck with me through my “What was I thinking?!” moments and my mini freak-outs, and I couldn’t have done this without her.

To every woman who showed up—you made this experience so special. You came with open hearts, shared vulnerably, supported one another, and created such a warm, welcoming environment. You connected, encouraged, and truly embodied what Elevate is all about. I’m beyond grateful for each and every one of you.

The incredible women I get to meet along the way. Every coaching session, every closet revamp, every shopping excursion, every workshop, every conversation—I’m reminded of the power of confidence, style, authenticity, and showing up as our best selves. The community we’re building is full of beauty, strength, and boldness, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.

And this year, I want to share more with you. After years of procrastination and inconsistent posting, I’m pushing myself to show up, to talk to you more, to connect with you in a real way.
