My apologies.

Technology is not on my side (apparently). I've just come to find out that my web host provider has NOT been forwarding emails to my email account for two months now!

And here I was thinking no one loved me😆

Why I live weddings with my whole being, but I believe that birth work is the most meaningful work I will ever do.

Weddings are sacred and intimate, but Birthing is on a whole other level. It's vulnerable. It's life altering.

Being invited into that sacred space with you, to support and encourage and preserve - it's the highest honour I could ever attain. But I'm not the one who benefits most. I truely believe that Birth photos bring healing and clarity to the mother, and help her process the event.

I love it I love it I love it.

Maybe I love you photograph pregnant mothers by the water because birth and water are so intrinsically linked. Water and life. Ever moving and changing and never once staying the same.

I have had four babies. Being pregnant was one of those profound, mystical, life changing times in my life - and yet the memories can be sparse and fuzzy.
I took photos of myself. I wish I had paid someone else to do it for me.
I didn't know then what I know now.
Seems like a lot of bellies and babies this fall, and I'm here for it all.

I see the pile of work ahead of me, staying up late to work through the endless images to edit, trying not to be repetitive with the meals I cook, remembering to breath deep and sustained for those high notes.
I think I'm ready for the next season.
