A couple of days ago, we headed to Bouctouche, NB for a winter engagement shoot. It was overcast and chilly. It was not as cold as today, but it was frigid enough after being out in the snow. But that didn't stop June and Nick from going out to get photos done :)

What can I say? These two are so cute together and the admiration between them was glowing, from glances to smiles when they looked at each other. Love was in the air.

Thank you, June and Nick for braving the cold and snow :)

Here is a sneak peek of your photos, from the many that were taken. I had a hard time narrowing it down.....lol.

A couple of days ago, we had the pleasure of seeing and photographing a Harlequin Duck here in Eastern New Brunswick.
This is a first time seeing one in person. Definitely a lifer and one we have always wanted to see.
He didn't seem to care we were there and proceeded to float over the very rough water of the Northumberland Strait. It was extremely windy and we had a difficult time holding our camera & lens and ourselves....lol.
So glad we got to see this guy :) The only thing that would have made this better, is if it was a sunny day so his colours would be more vibrant. Nonetheless, he was still very stunning on a cold, windy, and cloudy day.

Photos taken on Tantramar Marshes back in September 2024. The sky was full of yellows, pinks, purples, and blues. It was a beautiful night.

American Crows

We were at Sackville Waterfowl Park on Friday. Not a lot going on as it was quite cold, with a lot of wind. But we did see a unique bird while there that we haven't seen before, which was a nice experience (photos coming next).

Then 2 Crows landed on the walkway in front of us. I couldn't resist getting photos, with the backdrop of what is left with the fall colours draped in back of them. I thought it made for interesting photos. I waited until they turned their head, then took the shots.

It looks like there is fog at the crows feet, but in actuality, there was no fog. It is because I was on the ground and had the camera laying on the walkway shooting straight ahead over the boards of the walkway which curves in the distance. It certainly gives a different look.

What do you think of these photos of an everyday subject but with a different perspective?
