Élans, songes et monochromes chauds réalisés au cours de la dernière année pour tenter d’illustrer le génie de Yasmina Léveillé et son premier album/spectacle musico-humoristique.

Ça a été un vrai bonheur d’apprendre à connaître Yasmina à travers ce projet, et encore plus d’avoir pu le faire en ayant ses créations néoclassiques aussi transportantes aux oreilles.

L’album est sorti il y a quelques jours à peine. Bonne écoute; et à bientôt pour la suite du partage des images :)

En janvier, Lucas et moi nous sommes rencontrés pour créer en collaboration, inspirés par l'hiver québécois, le hockey et son départ imminent pour l'Australie. De cette rencontre est née « Trente » (2026), une toile signée Lucas Lajoie accompagnée d’une brève documentation du processus de conception et de Lucas à l'aube de ses 30 ans.

Pour « Trente », Lucas crée en empruntant les mouvements et le rythme du hockey, un sport qui a façonné sa vie et sa démarche artistique. Au fil des coups de patins et des lancers qui tapissent la toile, le hockey devient à la fois son outil et son médium.

BESIDE Issue 17, 2025

is a project I’ve been a massive fan of for years. I’m thrilled to have contributed a few images for its 17th issue: ‘Ephemeral’. And I’m honoured to share a few spreads with the great .rabz and !

“The works, featured at the opening and closing of the magazine, set the tone of the Ephemeral issue. Though [Romain, Vincent and Charlotte’s] practices unfold along distinct trajectories, what brings them together here is a shared, experimental use of colour that reaches beyond documentation, working instead as a means of composing narrative.

Across these pages, hues invite the reader to drift between seasons and states, lending winter a shifting pulse. In this muted time of year, colour became a way of holding the season’s reality at a distance, while also finding refuge in its emotional weather.” —
