WE FINALLY MOVED!

Just as the title reads: Dreams really do come true, and 2021 is no exception.

As you may or may not have noticed, our social/communication has been limited, and it's not out of disinterest but lack of resources and time.

The long and short of it is that when hit in #2020, we lost 50% of our production support due to new safety measures and industrywide/social restrictions. At the same time, we experienced a 50% increase in new business.

To say the least, we've been busy and making do with what we got.

In January 2021, SCC was approached by ClickSpace, and they launched a brand new eCommerce platform that provides solutions to small, medium and large companies to scale their business in a supportive and collaborative environment that is designed exclusively for e-commerce entrepreneurs.

expressed their interest in our studio and how they would like us to work together in the same building up on Chabanel corner Saint Laurent, in Montreal's .

Upon learning the goals and objectives to provide professional and affordable solutions to e-commerce first here in Montreal, and then eventually setting up in other metropolitan cities such as but not limited to , and so forth.

Our goals were one and the same: to fuel the Quebec/Canadian economy; while giving back to the community by charitable means (another post on that to come at a later date.

They asked what we wanted; our only request was that ClickSpaceMTL spearheads the design and building of our dream studio.

Over the next ten months, we collaborated with IDXDesign and ClickSpaceMTL, and to their credit, they produced our dream studio precisely as we envisioned.

Today, August 6th (a day before our 11th year in business), we began what we're calling "The Great Move", which involves two moves over the next 3-months.

The first is only temporary from suite 255 to 253, which means we're still inside the same Les Cadbury Lofts building, in the , , but just a different suite number, suite 253.

Studio Cody Caissie will be extending its 2020 holiday break to Monday, January 11th, vs January 4th as initially planned.

This decision comes from a position where we need to adjust our current game plan for the next few months. It's looking more likely that the recent Montreal lockdown will be extended until March 2021 (my best guess or as late as June 2021).

We're going to access and relook our action plan to pivot and adjust while activating our mandate to work remotely. More on this to come shortly.

To confirm, the studio is currently closed for the holiday from December 18th, 2020, to January 10th, 2021.

We're still booking photo-shoots/projects starting January 11th, 2021. There is no disruption in regards to shipping samples; it's business as usual.

I (Cody) will personally be in the studio and taking calls (514-700-4755) and responding to emails ([email protected]) as fast as possible.

I will post more updates as they come.
