The sad reality of photography.
Two years ago, I genuinely enjoyed working on this project. At the time, I really believed pickleball was about to become the next big trend.

Ironically, this was probably the most underwhelming commercial lighting setup I’ve ever done. Nothing flashy, nothing groundbreaking. Just… functional.

But yoo a job’s a job, and the pay made it worth it 😅. Funny enough, I don’t even think these products exist anymore.

2025 was tough.

Not inspiring. Not fluid. Tough.

I was 30 years old this year, and it was not a celebration. It was above all a confrontation with reality, with my choices, with what I build and with what I often wear alone.

This year has emptied me at times.

Professionally, I tried to grow with seriousness, vision and structure. I put time, energy, money, and a lot of mental load. And the truth is that it was deeply discouraging not to always have the support I would have needed to move the project forward.

Carrying a vision almost alone, explaining incessantly, justifying what you build, moving forward without a net, it wears out.

A lot of work in the shadows.

Many sacrifices.

And sometimes, the clear impression of pushing something much too heavy, despite all the tools that exist.

Financially, it was not stable.

Stressful months. Decisions made out of necessity, not out of desire. Learn to negotiate, to say no, to protect my work, often in discomfort.

Personally, it was heavy.

Mental fatigue. Discouragement. Constant doubts. I had to set limits, sometimes too late, sometimes awkwardly. I understood that I could not be there for everyone without forgetting myself.

There were times when I sincerely questioned what I was doing. And even why I continued.

But despite the struggle, I was not alone.

There were people who supported me, sometimes discreetly, sometimes without even knowing it. Presences that made the difference when things were not going well, then all these people who are in the cover were this person.

And in the middle of all this, I also experienced my first true love.

And I know it will be the last.

I love you, .

I’m still here.

Not because it was easy.

Because it was true.

2025 didn’t give me anything for free.

But she taught me honesty, resilience, and love.

The rest will not be magical for sure.

But it will be built on real.

Over the past two weeks, I had the opportunity to lead a concept-driven workshop for the event, organized by .
The focus was on merging photography flash with continuous video light in a single set pushing fashion imagery toward motion, distortion, and raw energy.

Art Direction
A fashion-forward exploration of movement and light, where motion blur and saturated tones reshape the silhouette.
The body becomes texture, the light becomes material capturing a cinematic moment between control and chaos.

Big thanks to everyone involved in bringing this set to life. Truly grateful for the collaboration.

Special thanks to for lending us Nanlux 900C to experiment with during the workshop.

Heatwave Diaries, Chapter 1:
Weather Confuse The season can’t decide, and she won’t pick a side either. Too hot for winter, too cold for summer, the perfect kind of chaos. Sweat, fur, denim, sportswear… everything clashes, everything works. It’s that in-between heat that sticks to the skin and changes the way you move. Weather’s confused... she isn’t.

All thanks to for being the first page of this series. Also, I would like to thanks to let trying out the Panasonic S1R II. I have alot of fun to play with. I hope my review will make improvement for the future line of camera when it comes to shoot in studio.
