Nous avons l'immense fierté de vous annoncer que notre film VR Mission Umbra et le documentaire “Dans l’Ombre de la Mission” ont été sélectionnés au Festival international du film de Shanghai (SIFF) ! 🎬✈️

Fondé en 1993, le SIFF est le plus grand et le plus prestigieux festival de cinéma de Chine. Il est également le seul festival chinois à bénéficier de l’accréditation « A-list » de la FIAPF, la même catégorie que les grands festivals internationaux comme Cannes, Berlin ou Venise.

C’est notre 4ème sélection officielle !

HEADING TO SHANGHAI! 🇨🇳

We are incredibly proud to announce that our VR film Mission Umbra and the documentary In the Shadow of the Mission have been selected for the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF)! 🎬✈️

Founded in 1993, SIFF is China’s largest and most prestigious film festival. It is also the only Chinese festival to hold FIAPF “A-list” accreditation, the same category as major international festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, and Venice.

This is our 4th official selection !

Notre premier film Mission UMBRA a été sélectionné aux PRIX NUMIX !!!

Depuis 2010, les NUMIX récompensent l’excellence des contenus numériques du Quebec. Nous saisissons l'occasion pour remercier une fois de plus les 200 contributeur(rice)s de la campagne Kickstarter qui nous ont permis de réaliser ce film, qui a littéralement fait décoller le Projet Dorothy.

Résultat le 28 mai lors du Gala qui aura lieu à la Gare Dalhousie du Cirque Éloize.

Our first film, Mission UMBRA, has been selected for the NUMIX AWARDS!!!

Since 2010, the NUMIX Awards have recognized excellence in Quebec digital content. We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank the 200 contributors to our Kickstarter campaign, whose support made it possible for us to create this film, which literally launched the Dorothy Project.

The results will be announced on May 28 at the Gala, which will take place at Cirque Éloize’s Gare Dalhousie.

As four astronauts from NASA take us on a journey around the Moon, sending back breathtaking images of Earth from space, they remind us of something essential: we all share the same fragile blue spacecraft.

A reminder that we are all in this together.
A reminder that it’s time to stand closer, not divide.

Two years ago today, the team behind the Dorothy Project captured the shadow of that same Moon sweeping across our pale blue dot.

To mark this moment, here is an exclusive trailer from our documentary In the Shadow of the Mission.

La vidéo a suscité énormément de réactions sur YouTube. Beaucoup ont pensé qu’elle était fausse, générée par une AI. Ce que l'on peut comprendre à une époque où les reseaux sont submergé par du "AI slop".

Aujourd’hui, nous dévoilons les coulisses complètes de cette performance aux portes de l’espace.

One of the Dorothy Project team members recently traveled to Yellowknife CANADA to conduct reconnaissance and camera tests for our upcoming Mission Aurora, scheduled for March 2026. In this mission, we aim to capture the breathtaking aurora borealis from the stratosphere, crafting a unique immersive experience that will let viewers journey inside the northern lights and uncover their secrets.
