My friend Nick had a three-day weekend coming, so we decided to go on a road trip to Saguenay. We went instead to Rivière-du-Loup because last-minute reason.
That reason caused us to drive by a green space overlooking the estuary of Rivière du Loup. On a whim I turned the car around and stopped there to go see what we could see.
What we saw were birds.
Hundreds of seagulls, three dozen Canada geese that arrived while we were there, countless snow geese with more arriving every few minutes, and a duck.
