This image was part of another demo I did for a fashion assignment I gave my students in the AEC Professional Photography Program at Dawson College. THROWBACK THURSDAY! I recently dug through my archives and found these images from the early days of my career. It was a shoot I did for CLIN D’OEIL MAGAZINE for their 25th Anniversary edition. The shoot took place at night, as we wanted to feature Old Montreal after hours. We started shooting around 10 pm and finished somewhere around 4 am.

For the fountain shot, my assistant and I used some empty containers to splash water all over the pavement in order to capture the city lights reflecting on the floor. This was a cinematic trick I had learned earlier in my career.

Unfortunately, I can’t recall the female model’s name, but the male model was Marc Antoine, who is no longer with us. The stylist was Josée Ménard, but I’m not sure who the makeup artist was. Martin Brisson was my assistant. If you were part of this shoot, feel free to reach out, and I’ll be sure to tag you.

The graphics on the spread were added later for my personal portfolio, and the tagline was written by the talented Ibi Kaslik
