Valerie Pyke Photography Wedding & event photography In 1997, on a dark dusty road in Texas, my love of photography and road trips inexplicably collided.

Maybe it was the stunning desert landscape or the crisp night air, but right there, in the front seat of that convertible, I realized I wanted to capture this moment forever. My amateur ability and disposable camera were adequate tools, but I knew I wanted, I needed, I craved more knowledge. After my adventure, I returned to Montreal and immediately signed up for the Commercial Photography program

at Dawson College Institute of Photography. The road wound through three years in the dark, learning the intricacy of processing film, editing and printing. I graduated with honours, started my own business and began my career. Photography is my passion; along with kittens, club sandwiches, and cupcakes. I would welcome the opportunity to celebrate and capture the special moments in your life, your memories along your life's journey.
