Hello everyone!
I know I haven't been active much here and I would like to give you an update.
I have a photoshoot I am working on but it is taking me some time. I would like to upload some for you by this weekend.
As the client/family friend is aware already, I have been battling my mental health that last little bit. Mentally I'm at a low and having a hard time sitting and doing 1 thing for too long!
If you are trying to get into contact with me please have patience and I will get back to you ASAP!

Hello everyone !! It's been a while! My life has taken such a turn over the last 6 months! Although I haven't stopped shooting, I did stop editing my personal photos and uploading!
Here we have my favourite little nugget 💕 she truly is the most beautiful model I have ☺ I love this girl and taking her photo makes my day!
I'm hoping now that things are starting to settle that I can get back into posting here more regularly! 🙏

With the weather getting better, it's time to start thinking about getting those spring photos! I have lots of available times to book up!
Mini Sessions (20 mins) $50 without USB or $60 with USB. Minimum of 10 edited photos
Full Sessions (approximately 1 hour) $100 with USB. Minimum of 35 edited photos
Any prints, canvas or products of your favourite photos are extra!

As most who are close to me know Community Living is extremely important in life. My whole life Community Living has been apart of me. Our friend Greg has been apart of my life right from day one even coming to the hospital the day I was born with a rose in hand. If it wasn't for Greg and my other friends that I have come to know over the years whether through community living or through my 6 and a half years that I worked at the Huntsville Walmart Photo Lab I wouldnt be who I am today. Each one of them have had such an impact on my life and have taught me so much. I wouldn't be who I am without each and every single one of them. There are times that I am contacted by Community Living to donate to them to help raise money through auctions to help with the costs of items their homes/clients may need and I will never say no! Below is a photograph I took this fall of a butterfly I saved from getting stepped on by myself, a friend and his dog that was over. And I couldn't be any happier with how beautiful it looks in this frame!

I am currently sitting here working on a photography contract for my clients and wondering if anyone was to do a photoshoot in the future if they would be interested in different packages? For example digital only packages or print only packages or print and digital combination packages.
I feel at this time it is a good time to introduce a contract for clients which outlines what to expect/agreement between photographer and client so nothing is a surprise!

Hello everyone! Long time! I do have a photoshoot that I will be working on editing and posting some pictures soon for you!

The purpose of this post though is to announce some changes coming to Ginny Ashby Photography in the new year. I will post once I have everything completely figured out but as some of you know, and some of you may not, I have accepted a full time job and in the process of transitioning into that position at my new place of employment. But I have also been working all my days off from one job over at the other for about a month so it has prevented me from putting out the changes sooner.
I truly believe it is time for those changes though. One, to help me edit faster for you and two, not always feel so bad for taking so long. Bare with me as I figure this out. It may not be until the new year that you will see the post and I am truly sorry to those I said I would get done this by now.

Finally all caught up!! All photos are edited and the last of the shoots goes out by this weekend!
With that being said I will be announcing changes within in the next month or 2 for the new year! Changes that I believe will help me when it comes to editing faster and getting your photos to you sooner! Please keep an eye out for those changes! I think this will be good and also a good time to go from working on my portfolio!
