These sessions aren’t just for traditional bo***ir photos.
They’re also for bad ass Mamas like you, who want to capture this powerful (yet soft) moment of intimacy and connection, empowering you by celebrating your unique journey of motherhood. Just like this Mama did at our last year’s sessions.

I struggle with two things when I’m posting my work: what to say, and which photos to include in the post.
I always want to say something engaging and or thought-provoking that may start a conversation. I also struggle with what photos to post. I deliver about 100 photos per hour from a wedding, and it feels nearly impossible to narrow that down to just a few that I love, and that fit on Instagram (friggin Instagram..)
I think what I need to do is just start posting my work and letting it speak for itself. I have YEARS of work that has gone unshared because of this, and I want to share it all without spending copious amounts of time editing what to say 🫠

Anyways, Holly and Ash had such a beautiful day, and I feel so lucky to have been there to capture the magic of their sweet micro wedding on their family property where he grew up 🥹! I photographed his sister‘s wedding back in 2019 and it was so nice to see their family again.
I hope to book a few more micro weddings in the spring and early summer. So let me know if you are thinking about it, and I would love to chat with you 🤍

Tender moments of newness with a sweet family, who I have had the absolute pleasure of working with for the last couple of years 🤍 I documented their wedding, and it was incredibly special to meet their new life as a family of 4 (good boy Spruce included 🐶)

Looking forward to all of the new babies that I’ll be meeting over the next few months! If you have a new family member on the way, it’s never too early to book your session. Having these memories documented is so special. Believe me when I will say that you will back on the photos and wonder how they were ever so small, because they change SO fast 🥺

On May 23rd I will be hosting Empowerment Sessions at this stunning location in Nelson.
Traditionally these were just open to bo***ir style photography, but I would LOVE to include some mamas looking for a nursing session.
