💍 Planning a wedding at The Beaumont in Clarenville?

I’ve photographed several weddings at The Beaumont over the past few years, including this one earlier this month, and I’ll be back again next season.

It’s one of those venues that just works well for a wedding day.

Everything can happen in one place, the room photographs beautifully, and when we want to head out for portraits there are plenty of great options around Clarenville.

I’m now booking 2028 Beaumont wedding dates.

August 7th, 2026 | Clarenville, Newfoundland

Makala & Michael celebrated their wedding at The Beaumont in Clarenville, surrounded by a great group of family and friends.

It was a beautiful Newfoundland summer day – lovely ceremony, great food, we made stops at the park and the Newfoundland C***r Company before heading back to their home for one final challenge – getting a wedding photo with their cat.

We had approximately half a second of "cooperation." We almost got it. Kinda. Sorta. It is what it is. 🐈 😄

August 1st, 2026 | Bonavista, Newfoundland

Erin & Cory celebrated their wedding surrounded by friends and family in beautiful Bonavista this past Saturday.

The fog may have rolled in, but they certainly didn’t let it get in the way of creating a great wedding day. We even made a special stop at Riff's department store - Cory’s favourite store - for a few wedding photos.

Pretty great to see the Clarenville Events Centre filled with people laughing, singing and dancing last night for the On The Rocks Music Festival

Here are a few of my favourite frames from the night.

After the festival moved indoors, the arena became a full concert venue for the night. Hosted by Colin Hollett, the evening featured NL Promotions Ultimate 90’s Country Show, The Practically Hip, and Shanneyganock with Bud Davidge.

Food for the night came from Island Pizza & Pretzel, The The Chew Crew , Salt & Sail Scoops, and Roll & Reel Snacks

Congratulations to the Town of Clarenville Parks and Recreation team, the Clarenville Events Centre, the performers, vendors and everyone involved in putting the night together as part of Clarenville’s 75th anniversary celebrations.

Pat Devine of Island View BNB is a local Clarenville treasure. I recently had the chance to work with Pat not only on new photos, but also on an entire new web presence and website. Pat, who has run Island View for 35 years, told me she has always really wanted her own website, and I am happy we were able to work together to make that happen.

Alongside building the site, we updated some of her online directory listings and got her featured over on the Clarenville Coasts website. We also brought in fellow local photographer Alicia Barrett. Alicia from A2Z Photography not only takes amazing family photos, but her wildlife work is world-class, and we refreshed Pat’s suites with images of local wildlife taken by her.

There is nothing better than when my work comes full circle.

Three years ago, I photographed Josh and Sam’s wedding in St. John’s. We met up this past week at Elizabeth Swan Park right here in Clarenville to capture their next chapter before the baby arrives.

We stopped for ice cream on their wedding day - and now that the folks down at Roll & Reel are serving up ice cream, we thought - why not start an ice cream photo tradition?

I love watching my past couples' lives unfold and being there to document their story as it grows.

Thank you Sam and Josh - here is to the next few years - catching up again, meeting the new addition, and finding the next ice cream stop! 🍦📸
