📍Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis

Some of my favorite shots from Colombia's biggest botanical garden. It serves both as a recreation and research center with an emphasis on Andean and Páramo ecosystems. The garden is located in Bogotá and features plants from every Colombian altitude, climate and region 💚🌿

Ráquira, a village of 3,400 people, sits in the mountains of Boyacá, Colombia ⛰️

Ráquira, meaning ‘City of Pots’, has always been famous for its ceramics, pottery and handicrafts ❤️

A colony of pottery artisans live in town—more than 80% of the townspeople make a living producing traditional Andean pottery with clay manually extracted from local clay mines.

Scenes from a lovely walk through Barcelona—from Park Güell ➡️ La Sagrada Familia. It was mostly downhill, so my calves were wrecked after this. Absolutely worth it to take in more of this beautiful city at a leisurely pace.

Most are well aware of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, but did you know Barcelona also has an Arc de Triomf?

The French Arc is made in a Neoclassical style and commemorates French soldiers, while the Spanish one is made of brick, acknowledges the role of agriculture and industry, and was erected for the World’s Fair in 1888. It’s about half the size of the Parisian building, but more than makes up for it with its striking beauty.
