Holiday Monday, no need to rush. 🇨🇦

There’s something about spotting a classic red beauty on the road that makes you slow down and appreciate the view. Chrome shining and nowhere particularly urgent to be.

A little reminder for the holiday: take the scenic route when you can. Sometimes the best part of the journey is simply what catches your eye along the way.

Holding onto summer for just a little longer. ☀️🇨🇦

Blue skies, warm sunshine and a little peace by the water, exactly what a long weekend should look like.

September may be here, but summer clearly hasn’t packed its bags just yet. There’s still time to get outside, wander somewhere familiar, find a view worth stopping for and enjoy these beautiful days while they’re still ours.

From quiet riverboats and sailboats catching the wind, to working harbours along Newfoundland’s rugged coast and the boats taking on the power of Niagara Falls — Canada looks a little different from the water.

Rivers to harbours. Lakes to the open Atlantic. Some built for calm waters, others made to face the waves.

Different boats. Different waters. One incredible country to explore. 🌊

Nobody quite prepares you for St. John’s.

Every street has a story, and every meal feels like home. Between the incredible views, colourful neighbourhoods, and some of the best local restaurants I’ve experienced, it’s a city that’s impossible not to appreciate.

Visiting during the height of summer made it even better. The streets were alive with music, festivals, and a welcoming energy that perfectly reflects the heart and spirit of Newfoundland. I arrived excited to explore, and left already looking forward to the day I return.

Quidi Vidi is one of those hidden corners of St. John’s where colourful homes, quiet waters, and generations of history come together. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, look around, and appreciate Newfoundland’s charm one frame at a time.
