Some of my favourite photos happen in the middle of the “ordinary.” Bare feet in the dirt, watering the garden, little hands covered in soil, babies on hips, siblings picking veggies before they’re ready 🌱

These are the moments that become the memories.

And just a reminder — your life does not need to look extravagant to be worth documenting. I’m always happy to photograph families in their homes, backyards, kitchens, gardens, and everyday routines doing the things that feel small now but won’t someday 🤍

This session was just that - cold and rainy - but we did it and captured some great moments and memories 🌸💕

One thing I include in my client style guide is to dress for the weather - especially with kids. If you’re all cold and uncomfortable, it’s likely going to show with tense shoulders and fake smiles.
