Loved capturing the energy at the Rink Rebels tournaments, unreal atmosphere and an even better community behind it!
Hard to believe it’s already been a week since it all wrapped up.
The last two weekends were something special. The kind you feel long after they’re over. The rinks were full, the energy was real, and it doesn’t happen without people stepping up behind the scenes.
We want to take a moment to thank the people who gave their time, energy, and effort to make it all come together.
Kelsey, Randy, Kristy, Gregg, Kate, Mark, Shelby, Jacklyn, Kim, Bruce, Tina, Heather, Pat, Susan, Chace, Tarah, Max, Sophia, Lexi, Ava, Avayah, Claire, Gabby, Catherine, Sadie, Rebecca, Kiersten.
We know we’re missing people, and that matters. This didn’t happen because of a list of names — it happened because of a community that showed up.
Thank you to all the players, coaches, rink staff, canteen staff, and everyone else who played a part in making this weekend what it was.
Appreciation as well to the partners and organizations who played a role in the weekend, along with KSports Live and Hardcastle Media for helping capture and share it.
Everyone involved should be proud. Hosting one of the largest, if not the largest, all-female hockey tournaments in Atlantic Canada is something special.
Rink Rebels were proud to host over 150 games in a 9-day period in Fredericton and Keswick.
This is what it’s all about. People coming together to build something bigger than the game.
Best of luck to the U7 Little Snipers this weekend at the East Coast Ice tournament in Moncton. Play hard, have fun, and enjoy every moment.
This was just the beginning.
