My last day in Nairobi was a surreal experience. The tension that has been bubbling under the surface for days finally erupted into deadly clashes, internet shutdown, road blocks, looting and the like. Driving to the airport with my son, I remember coughing and sneezing jn the car because of the remnants of tear gas still in the air. Upon landing in Canada, I was happy to hear Ruto has withdrawn this stupid bill and that the people have been heard. I have enjoyed my time in Kenya greatly and hope to return soon.
