With the reopening this fall, wedding couples who had to forgo their receptions last year have had a chance for a do-over. This portrait was taken at just such a celebration one year later. It was beautiful to see friends and family come together at this backyard party laughing and connecting again.

I had the privilege to be able to photograph this first look during a ceremony at a wedding earlier this season. This couple was filled with so much joy it overcame them both as the bride walked up the aisle with her father, who was absolutely beaming with pride. I feel very lucky to bear witness to moments like these.
