I’ve been a little quiet on social media while some changes were going on in my life. Sometimes we need to take a step back to find our authentic self again and get back into it. While I have continued photographing amazing women during this time, I haven’t been keeping up with my sharing, so you will see some wonderful 50 Over 50 portraits coming along in the next little bit.

It has actually been five years (I can hardly believe it) since I launched my 50 Over 50 campaign and it has been truly one of the most amazing things I have done as a photographer. Each and every one of you who has stepped into my studio and shared your stories with me have carried me through this last year and a half and for that, I am truly grateful.

Tomorrow is Women’s Day in Manotick and I will once again be spending the day at Rebel Petal on Manotick Main Street with Michelle and her amazing team. If you have been curious about participating in my 50 Over 50 Project or would like to talk portraits or headshots, this a great opportunity. If you just want to say hi and share a hug and some stories, I welcome that too!!

One of the biggest decisions I had to make over the last year and a bit, was whether or not I would be continuing as Anna Epp, as this is how I am known across social media, and I realized in being my true authentic self, I cannot. It will take a little bit of time, as these things do, but I thought Women’s Day was the perfect time to reintroduce myself.

Wishing everyone an amazing 2024!!

As I sit and reflect on 2023 it was not my favorite, yet it was. So for today, the fresh start of 2024, I want to leave the last year behind me, take the good from it and leave the bad.

I am so grateful to all the amazing people that graced the Farmhouse studio in 2023 and I want to thank each and every one of you.

I am excited for everything 2024 promises to bring and I look forward to seeing you and sharing with you again this year.

It's been a long time since I had a visit with Santa that was just me!! I have to send out a huge thank you to Rebel Petal for the beautiful space and to Steph Legari for hosting Santa and bringing him out for visits with children and pets!! I would also like to thank my assistant, Ivy, for keeping things organized and being amazing!!

And thank you to everyone who came out, shared in some joy and remembered what it as like to be a kiddo while enjoying time with their own kiddos.

Christmas in the Village will be happening in Manotick on December 1 & 2 and hopefully many of you will be able to join in the festivities!!

Santa and Mrs Claus will be on their Christmas Stroll through the Village on Saturday so I had a little chat with the Big Guy and asked if he wouldn't mind joining me on Sunday, December 3rd at Rebel Petal for some photos with Santa and he joyfully said yes!!
