Thanks to your amazing support, in the last month I have had a chance to donate over $250 to a variety supporting children’s wellness in developing countries. As you may have seen from my stories I was just home in Brazil - while there I expanded partnership to Instituto Nuvem in my home town, and going forward 5% of of all photography packages will be donated to help run creative programs for at risk kids. It’s a pretty special organization - and I know it’s only possible because of your support in my photography work.

I don’t always post B&W pictures here on the Instagram feed 🤪 but it is Black Friday right? Mixing it up 🖤 hope your day and weekend is filled with joy and playfulness.
PS: Photography Black Friday offerings are already up on the new page, I’ll share them here as well on the next post. So excited to meet new business owners and start creating together. Truly my favourite part of entrepreneurship is the new friendships it brings!

I had originally posted a black square this morning as part of . Although after reading and latest post, I learned that this is not the time to be silent; it is the time to SPEAK and have the important dialogue of dismantling racism. It’s time to take action, and for many of us to do the internal work. I am learning, and will admit I am probably messing so much of this up.
To be honest, I still don’t know if I am doing the right thing or the best thing but I commit to taking positive action. So I deleted that square and instead:
- Completed Harvard’s Bias Test
- Donated to

- Will be completing the anti-racism 101 checklist for white people
- Will be journaling on my white privilege and acknowledging how I can use it to DISMANTLE systematic racism and create a world where this privilege is a basic human right for all.
- Am sharing my actions here with you so spark a conversation, hoping to inspire you to take whatever action you can in this moment. We can only change what we are willing to act upon and speak about.
There is so much to be done, and will starting by committing to learning, doing the work and using my voice to highlight and expand that of those who know what they are talking about.
