Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas around the 🌎!

Every year on this day, all I ask for is a photoshoot. So often, we’re the ones behind the lens, capturing everyone else’s memories while quietly missing from the frame ourselves.

Once in a while, here’s your reminder to take the opportunity to step in front of the camera too. These moments become part of the legacy we leave behind, treasured memories for our kids to look back on for years to come.

Taken some time off this year, but I’m back!

First shoot with .zachery, this is set 1.
What you don’t see is the cold and rainy weather that we had to trek through to get some of these shots. One of us may or may not have also been stuck in a tree at some point.

I had the honour of photographing a series of self-portraits for David. We first met years ago at my previous job, so being remembered and reached out to for my photography meant more than I can say.

There’s something really special about those full-circle moments.

In every session, my goal is to bring out the very best in someone, to capture them as they are, in their essence, and preserve a moment that captures authenticity.

I first met Kat in the fall, and we instantly clicked. A couple of months later, she reached out and asked if I’d be her wedding photographer, and it was such an honour to say yes.
