When the most amazing family asks you to document a day at the cottage 🥰 I couldn’t be more grateful for them inviting and trusting me with their moments.

I loved seeing the bond between cousins and how they shared their ice cream. I laughed at the banter between siblings and brother-in-laws over a board game. I admired the relationship between the grandparents and celebrating 40 years of marriage.

For now, sharing a small sneak peek collection of photographs from their time on the beach. Thankful to for getting the last image of me in action. Thank you!!!

Yesterday was my first session back and it couldn’t have been with a more amazing family 🥰 We spent the morning hanging out at their favourite neighbourhood spots to serve as a reminder of their time spent in Toronto before they move out of province. I’m sad I won’t get the chance to hang out with this fun crew again but I’m so happy to be able to give them these meaningful memories.

Today I’m reflecting on what Canada means to me while acknowledging communities that Canada has mistreated. Particularly the Indigenous communities of Canada who are suffering from sadness, grief, loss and anger. It is my goal to raise my children to be empathetic and aware humans, who appreciate all cultures and those who are different from them. We must do better. We stand with the Indigenous People of this land 🧡
