I’m taking a break from social media for the remainder of this year.
Honestly, technology is wild. It’s become such a huge distraction in our lives. We find ourselves wanting to unwind from our busy day, so we hop on socials - watch reels and scroll endlessly. We think it’s relaxing, but it’s not. It drives us like racehorses, draining us and feeling depleted.
I’m looking forward to focusing on what’s important and to be fully present - to gain precious time back.
Jesus says,
Rest in Me, My weary one.
My invitation never changes: Come to Me, all you who are weary, and I will give you rest. Matt 11:28
