If you’ve been watching the roll out of the Fall ‘26 items over at Nettle's Tale | Swim & Apparel, you know it’s been an absolutely dreamy season.

It’s about to get even better.

I have been asking them for years to do another hiking pant (I still wear my original strait pants from their launch many years ago!) I’m stoked to help bring some visuals to the table for these upcoming release of these new pants. Here’s a little sneak peek of one of the colour ways. When I tell you these pants are A DREAM, I’m probably selling them short. They’re perfection. Nettle’s Tale knocks it out of the park every time. Canada is beyond lucky to have such a gem of a clothing company!

Shaggy Mane is one of my favourite mushrooms to stumble upon. Coprinus comatus is an ink cap, meaning it turns to a black, inky goop as it ages. Many use this ink in artwork! I mostly just enjoy the many phases of this mushroom, especially when it starts to curl upward with black ink. Edible when very young, these mushrooms tend to grow in grassy areas in groups. Have you seen these before? Do you think their ink is cool or gross? 😅

I’m sorry, but wearable mushrooms? Where have they been all my life?! The magical La Bottega di Pan has been filling my feed with whimsy for a while now, and when she offered to send me a few mushrooms pins, I leapt at the opportunity. My outfits just got a lot more fun(gi)!
