There’s more work behind the picture than you might think. 📸

The first photo shows the moment: capturing our Nova Scotia tartan blanket on a beautiful beach.

The second photo? The finished shot. 🌊

But between the idea and the finished photograph are all the little things that make a small business work, choosing the perfect location, carrying products along, arranging the shot, taking way too many photos to get the right one, and then sharing it with you.

The Maple Leaf Tartan bowtie I purchased from Cheryl at Taylors Tartans out of Plaster Rock, NB arrived today!
The Maple Leaf tartan was designed in 1964 by David Weiser and became Canada's official tartan in 2011.
It goes well with my jacket with the maple leaf inner lining!
