I’ve had this message a few times today, and my answer is… NOPE! Not too late. Not even a little bit!
In fact, this is such a beautiful time to get those family photos done!
Are you dreaming of warm, cozy snuggles, playful giggles, and those sweet little moments you wish you could bottle up forever? The studio is ready for you!

And listen… I KNOW getting everyone in one place, in coordinating clothes, with decent hair and a willingness to cooperate can feel like a full-time job. Trust me, I get it ( have you seem my crew? LOL)!

I was supposed to be working on this session… but then I got to this image and just had to stop for a minute because MY HEART.

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this fabulous crew for the last few years, and getting to watch their little personalities grow has honestly been one of my favourite parts of this job.

And you know what I love most about photographing families more than once? I get to know your kiddos. I get to see the silly, the wild, the big personalities, the shy little smiles, the snuggly moments, and all the wonderfully them things that make your kids who they are.

As they get more comfortable with me, they let a little more of themselves shine through. No pressure to be perfect, no need to sit still and smile at the camera the whole time. Just your kids being your kids. Because one day, these little personalities will be a little less little, and you'll find yourself wishing you could bottle up exactly who they were at this age.

That's why I love what I do. It's not just about giving you beautiful pictures to hang on your walls (although we're definitely going to do that, too 😉). It's about giving you a little piece of right now to hold onto.

Oh my goodness… these kids. hahaha They were SO funny and I’m pretty sure we laughed our way through this entire session!

The sun was getting ready to tuck itself away, the PJs were on, and we just got to hang out for the evening. There was playing, giggling, a little bit of chaos (because… kids haha), and lots of soaking up the most beautiful sunset.

And honestly, THIS is why I love what I do.

Not every session needs perfectly posed smiles and everyone looking at the camera. Sometimes the best memories are barefoot, a little wild, full of giggles, and wrapped up in your favourite PJs while the sun goes down.

These are the little moments to remember.

The little scrunchy faces.
The newborn cuddles that make you wonder how someone so tiny can possibly take up so much space in your heart.

And as a photographer, one of my favourite things is getting to freeze these little pieces of your story before they change.

Because they will change.
