I think it’s time for me to be a little more honest about this journey. 🤍

I started photography less than a year ago, and somehow, in such a short time, I have learned so much. I’ve fallen completely in love with capturing people, love, connection, emotions, and those little moments that become memories forever.

Photography has become something I care about deeply.

But being an artist also comes with ups and downs.

For the first time in my life, I’ve decided that I don’t want to show only the perfect side of my journey. Because life isn’t perfect. Building a dream isn’t always beautiful sunsets, perfect photos, exciting shoots, and celebrations.

Sometimes there is doubt.

Sometimes you look at your work and wonder, Is it good enough?

And if I’m being completely honest, I’m trying to grow here. I’m trying to build something from my passion. And sometimes, when you put your heart into creating something, share it with the world, and it receives very little response… it can be discouraging.

You start questioning yourself.

You wonder if your work is good enough.

You wonder if you’re on the right path.

But I’m learning that growth isn’t always visible in numbers. And I’m not giving up.

And maybe this is also a little reminder for all of us: if you see someone you know trying to build something — a business, a dream, a new career, a passion — support them.

It takes only a few seconds, but sometimes those few seconds can mean so much to someone who is working hard and wondering if anyone sees them.

This photoshoot was the perfect reminder that you can’t always predict how things will turn out. 🤍

The whole day was sunny, with the bluest sky, and I was expecting the most magical sunset. But, as Alberta weather loves to do, everything changed so quickly. At first, I thought the weather might ruin our plans.

But I decided to go anyway.

And honestly? It turned out even better than I expected.

Because beautiful photographs aren’t only about perfect weather, perfect light, or the perfect location. They’re about love. Connection. The way you look at each other. The way you feel when you’re together.

Sometimes life gives you lemons… so you make lemonade. 🍋 And when that lemonade is created with love, it somehow becomes an even more beautiful memory.

I truly believe that every photographer should experience a creative retreat at least once. 🤍

But honestly… not every retreat is created equal.

This one? I can recommend it with my whole heart. From the incredible couples to every little detail that was thoughtfully planned, it exceeded every single one of my expectations. I couldn’t have imagined something more beautiful and inspiring.

I feel so incredibly blessed to have been part of this experience—to create, learn, connect, and capture so much beauty surrounded by such talented people.

My heart is already looking forward to next year… Banff, here I come! 🏔️And I already know it’s going to be just as magical.

And when you choose a place surrounded by breathtaking nature, like Oregon, it somehow makes everything feel even more meaningful. The quiet, the mountains, the trees, the open skies… it’s just the two of you, your love, and a moment you’ll remember forever.

I was so happy to be part of such a beautiful retreat, surrounded by incredible couples and unforgettable nature. Experiences like this remind me why I love photography so much.

I will always be the happiest person to travel to beautiful places, stand behind my camera, and witness love in its most genuine and beautiful form. ✨

I’m completely in love with wedding photography—it truly has my heart. 🤍 But there is another kind of beauty I will always be passionate about capturing: the beauty of a woman.

Especially on evenings like this… when the lake is completely still, the golden hour wraps everything in its warm glow, and a beautiful woman with glowing skin stands in the middle of it all.

For me, that is the perfect combination to create art.

My second passion is seeing beauty in everything—but especially in a woman’s spirit. Her freedom, her softness, her strength, and the unique light she carries within herself.

Because every woman has a story, and sometimes all it takes is the right light, the right moment, and someone who truly sees her. 🤍

There is something truly magical about a wedding day. 🤍 It’s one of the most beautiful and emotional moments in a couple’s life—a day filled with love, happy tears, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

I’m forever grateful for every couple and every photographer who has trusted me to be part of such a special day. Being invited to capture these moments, whether as a lead photographer or a second shooter, is something I will never take for granted.

Engagement photos and wedding days are incredibly special… but what happens after the wedding is where the real love story begins. 🤍

Life gets busy. Kids, work, responsibilities… and sometimes we forget to pause, look at each other, and celebrate the love that brought us together in the first place.

That’s why photographing this beautiful couple was so special to me. After more than 25 years together, they still look at each other with that same love and sparkle.

Because that is the true beauty of marriage—not just saying “I do,” but continuing to choose each other, grow together, fall in love again and again, through every stage of life.

And sometimes, a photoshoot is the perfect excuse to slow down, hold each other close, and remember the way you’ve always looked at one another. 🤍

I honestly can’t stop admiring the beauty of this woman. Kassandra Garraway 😍The combination of her gorgeous skin tone, the beautiful light, the water, and that sailboat created something truly magical.

With fall slowly approaching, I’ll be honest — yesterday I was feeling a little sad that summer is coming to an end. But this photoshoot brought me so much joy. I loved every single minute of it.

There’s just something magical about being on a boat, surrounded by water, with the wind in your hair and beautiful light all around you. 🤍
