It’s me, Jord 👋🏼

As the craziness of this season continues— I have been feeing inspired to share a bit of my heart!

✨I hate the word busy✨
To me, it glorifies productivity over relationship, it welcomes excuses for lack of connection, it leaves me feeling as though I am unable to manage my time/relationships/self and can justify that because my schedule is FULL.

I love watching my business grow. It makes me proud! Having clients return for ANOTHER photo session OR connecting with new ones- it seriously fills my cup. But don’t get me wrong- it’s not about the money, or the full schedule. ITS NOT ABOUT BEING BUSY. It’s about the people that I get to engage with. Who invite me into their moments and trust me. Who become like friends. Who allow me to create.
But I won’t glorify the busyness because my full schedule comes with sacrifices! for my family and friends— it means I miss out on weekend events, bedtime, spontaneous plans, etc. etc. etc.

I’m learning to say no, to prioritize the things that matter, to understand how my brain works and when I reached capacity, to put boundaries on my time.

So here’s to finding time.
For the things that matter
For rest
For relationships
For sending Marsh funny reels while sitting right beside him.
For life

This was such a special moment to be apart of 🧡

Liz had no idea this was about to go down!! But every detail was perfectly planned by Remi. From the lunch that was the ploy to get her to the dock, to the videos friends had sent leading up to their proposal to congratulate and celebrate with them, to the letters her family wrote- every detail was so thoughtful and special!
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house (me included 🙃)

Honestly, I have the best couples 🖤

Last Saturday, the forecast was looking soggy. But Chantelle, she wasn’t afraid of the rain!
She wanted an outdoor ceremony, and she got it. Ya it poured as she walked down the aisle, but it was beautiful ❤️and it helped disguise Austin’s tears. So win win for everyone !
