“Taking an image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is.”

I always say photos hold memories.
Most of my photos I can remember where I've taken them , what the day was like or the moment of taking the photo, who I was with if someone was with me.

This photo was taken the beginning of May in 2016, it was my senior year and I was a month away from graduating. My mother was given the roses and me being a rose lover I had to take a photo, anytime she got roses especially from one of my sisters.. I took a photo each time.

Roses are my favorite, when I'm asked what my favorite color is I say red and usually following that I say because roses are red and they are my favorite. (I know, roses come in many colors but mainly red) and when I see roses I always think of my mother.

I love that I'm able to have memories attached to each photo I take.

I want to speak on this topic a little bit because I started up a new instagram page for my photography January 31 of this year. Someone before said that I was copying someone else because such person also has a photography page on Instagram and Facebook. Or that I edit my photos and mine are unoriginal.

I want to just put it out there that I am not copying anyone. I had a photography page on here for years and deleted it and every other page I owned like 2 years ago. I only made a new one because it was suggested so I thought that I would give it another go.

I have also had many photography accounts on Instagram. I deleted them all because of issues that were going on in my life. I regret it because so many people loved my work and I had thousands of followers that I built myself with the love I have for my work.

None of my photos are edited, what you see is how it was taken. No filters , highlights or anything. I love my shots how they come out. If I don't like something I took, I simply don't share it on my platforms. I tried editing ages ago and I found that normal cellphone applications made the quality of the photos so bad and very noticeable that's it was edited. Ok if you have a professional one on a pc, but those ones cost a pretty penny.

I was "called out" many times about me saying I don't edit my photos as if I'm belittling those who do. No, I don't belittle anyone for any form of art they do. I find things beautiful that most would look at and be like "what the heck is that?"

I'm not building platforms for my photography to judge people's work, copy people, or anything like that. I'm simply building platforms for my photography (trying to) to just share what I love , something that's been my life , peace and passion since I was just becoming a teenager.

I am not building photography platforms to "compete" with others who do photography for a living, as a hobbie or just take random photos here and there. I'm just building platforms to share something that's been a huge part of my life and has helps me along my journey of life.

Thank you for reading my Ted talk

I do appreciate everyone who has followed or liked my page and no my photos don't get likes and people don't engage with my stuff but I know people still see it and that's something ❣

This ones a photo of one of my foster dogs I had.
I will be posting more of the many foster dogs I had. It was a blessing to be able to take dogs in, train them and give them unconditional love then find them new loving home for people for for them.
