Last weekend we had the absolute pleasure of staying in Daylesford at the

The home exceeded any expectations we could have envisioned, from the moment entering the property we were compelled to relax in every space, from one room that flows seamlessly into the next, from the inside to the outdoor living space.

We spent a beautiful weekend as a family enjoying breakfast, with all the kitchen supplies we needed. The boys ran around the yard, watched kangaroos, explored the dry creek, swam in the heated pool.

Griffin helped me bbq as we enjoyed snacks on the deck overlooking the stunning native trees and golden sunset, followed by games night.

We are looking forward to exploring more of Daylesford and the beautiful Highstead House in Daylesford.

I don’t normally post much for personal stuff on here, but I really wanted to share this gem we found with and family. As soon as we pulled up we loved the vibe this place gave off, and the only thing that topped it was the amazing Detroit style deep dish pizza they served up! The laid back style and atmosphere allowed for us to enjoy our pizza while our kids ate their pizza and entertained themselves with the toys on site.
I highly recommend you stop here when you’re in the Colombia Valley area, you won’t regret it!

As we approach Mother’s Day this year, I’ve decided to do something a little different. Those that know me, know two things that are near and dear to me include, mental heath and the people of Ukraine, and right now many people in Ukraine are suffering from the trauma of war. Last month I sat down with a member of Firefighter Aid Ukraine to discuss their last training mission in Ukraine and I learned of a woman, a mother, who is doing meaningful work. On March 15th 2022, Natalia Tarabalka of the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine, lost her 29 year old son Stepan Tarabalka as he prevented the Russian invaders from attacking the Ukrainian city of Zhytomyr, saving entire residential blocks from an air attack. Stepan’s mother, Natalia has since invested money received, resources, and time, into a health and wellness center, Warmth of the Winged Soul, in the Kolomiysk Region of Ukraine, to help their army veterans and relatives in their recovery from war.
In honor of Natalia and her work, I will be hosting Mother's Day Sessions with 100% of the proceeds going to Natalia and her center, where funds are used for maintenance of the center, exercise equipment and any other resources needed to aid in helping those dealing with trauma from the war.
