«Je serai toujours là // I Will Always Be There»
Lorsqu'une image créé une émotion chez la personne qui regarde, c'est parfois difficile d'expliquer pourquoi.
Lors de ma première exposition en 2018, une de mes images a fait réagir plusieurs personnes. Une jument grise dans la pénombre du manège intérieur. Le titre «Je serai toujours là». Je l'ai vendue 4 fois. Elle a probablement réveillé le souvenir d'un être cher, humain, cheval, chien, chat...
Une dame qui était allée déjeuner au resto où avait lieu mon expo s'était assise devant cette image. L'émotion est montée et elle a été très émue. Elle l'a achetée. Lors de la livraison en personne, elle m'a raconté qu'elle avait vécu seule longtemps, puis avait rencontré un homme extraordinaire qui est devenu son conjoint. Mon image lui a fait penser à l'homme qui partage maintenant sa vie et à quel point elle savait qu'il serait toujours là. La jument représentait pour elle cette solidité et cette sensibilité que son amoureux lui apportait. Ça m'avait beaucoup émue.
Nous avons perdu cette magnifique jument en 2020. Donc maintenant, c'est moi qui a une grande émotion en regardant cette image d'elle. Elle aura été importante pour moi, elle m'a redonné des ailes alors que je pensais que ce n'était plus possible. Elle sera toujours là dans mon coeur.

When an image evokes an emotion in the viewer, it's sometimes difficult to explain why.
At my first exhibition in 2018, one of my images resonated with many people. A gray mare in the dim light of the indoor riding arena. The title: "I Will Always Be There." I sold it four times. It likely stirred the memory of a loved one—human, horse, dog, cat...
A woman who had gone to lunch at the restaurant where my exhibition was being held sat down in front of this image. She was deeply moved and became very emotional. She bought it. When I delivered the image to her, she told me that she had lived alone for a long time, then met an extraordinary man who became her partner. My image made her think of the man who now shares her life and how she knew he would always be there for her. The mare represented the strength and sensitivity that her partner brought to her life. It moved me deeply.
We lost this magnificent mare in 2020. So now, I'm the one who feels a great deal of emotion looking at this picture of her. She was important to me; she gave me wings again when I thought it was no longer possible. She will always be there in my heart.
