If you’ve been wanting family photos but are worried about how your kids are going to act I need you to know this -> bring them to me wild!
This image was from a big extended family session and all the little cousins were running wild and free on grandma and grandpas farm. It was so fun, but they did not want anything to do with me 😆 but in my sessions we just roll with it. We want movement, interaction, play, and honest emotions.
Do we make sure to get the “money shot” with everyone looking at the camera? Definitely. But more important is letting everyone be themselves and giving prompts so everyone can interact and show love in a natural way. It’s freezing the moment of how your family is in this season so when you look back in years to come you’ll remember how it felt. It’s about more than nice smiles!
This particular image was a split second where I captured the kids attention but then they were on to moving and playing again, but the beauty of that little pause is now a captured memory :)
