One of my favourite things about Aquarium NB is how interactive it is for kids.

It’s not just about walking around and looking at the exhibits — there are opportunities for kids to get hands-on, explore, and actually engage with what they’re learning.

It makes the whole experience feel a lot more memorable, especially for little ones who want to touch, discover, and ask a million questions.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly stop in Shippagan, this is definitely one to check out.

There’s something special about walking through a place like the Carrefour Quai des Artistes in Caraquet and getting to see so much creativity gathered in one spot.

From the waterfront views to the little artist shacks, local food, and spaces to sit and take it all in, it’s one of those places that’s worth slowing down for.

I didn’t film the artists themselves, because I’d much rather encourage you to go see their beautiful work in person and support them directly. ❤️

Tucked just behind the Carrefour de la Mer in Caraquet is a little spot worth wandering through — Le Quai des Artistes.

Six colourful little cabins sit along the waterfront, giving local artists and artisans a place to create, display, and sell their work throughout the summer.

And that’s what I loved about stopping here. You’re not just looking at something made by a local artist — you might actually get the chance to meet the person behind it, hear their story, and see the creativity that goes into their work.

It’s the kind of place you can easily walk past if you don’t know it’s there.

But once you find it, you’ll probably want to take your time.

If you’re exploring Caraquet this summer, add the Quai des Artistes to your list.
