Who doesn’t love a morning and mid afternoon wedding lunch, honestly! The vibes were so laid back and it was a pleasure to watch these parents of 2 make it official.

An absolute pleasure and such a beautiful experience photographing Sonia Wellness Coaching at Bloom Holistic Retreat. 🤍

The property, the surrounding nature, the food, the workshops, and most of all, the energy from everyone there made the whole weekend so special.

As a wedding and engagement photographer, this was definitely outside of my usual element. I’m so used to directing, anticipating what’s next, and being completely switched on in full-blown director mode. This weekend gave me the chance to slow down, observe, and simply take it all in.

I got to experience the retreat almost as a guest would — soaking in the little moments, the conversations, the laughter, and the overall feeling of the weekend.

And honestly, I even shed a few tears during the closing circle, listening to everyone share their experiences and takeaways. It was really beautiful to witness.

So grateful I got to be there and document it.

An August Tuesday night wandering around in my downtown hometown? During salsa night in the square and a drag show in the park? Yes please! The older I get the more I love what our city has to offer. The artsy, musical culture - there is live music pretty much any night of the week depending on what you are looking for.

I feel so blessed to capture these two love birds in the city I love and looking forward to even more when they say I do next year!
