This was one of those sessions that reaffirmed the heart-led pivot I made to pursue a career in storytelling portrait photography. My heart was smiling the whole time, like, within each shot of this series, you can just feel the love these two have for one another and their little babe on the way 🥹🥰 To be able to capture this announcement was truly such a gift! For deeply sentimental hearts like mine, this is kind of emotional, visual storytelling that’s like a giant hug for the soul 🫶🏽

This session was so special… it was our last maternity session after getting to capture each trimester where I witnessed the excitement, the transformation, the waiting and the wonder 💛

Pregnancy can sometimes feel endless in the moment —it can feel slow (and often surreal) and then suddenly, a new soul is here and your life splits in two: the before and the after. It is truly the most wild and incredible thing to experience.
I cannot wait to meet this little one soon!

Look at how sweet this little one is 🥹🫶🏽
The golden hour sunlight decided to duck behind some thick, grey clouds, but I was able to work with what golden light we had to create a beautiful series of images nonetheless!
With toddlers, you’ve gotta be quick —which is why mini sessions are so perfect! In 15-20 mins, I have enough time to help you warm up, capture some sweet candids of those playful, in-between moments and snap some dreamy portraits to share, frame and cherish for generations —all before the little ones lose interest and want to move on to the next activity in true toddler fashion.
