As I posted earlier tonight, I have an announcement I’d like to share! I’m opening up a limited number of portrait sessions next Saturday, December 20th. I have 4 slots available (12:30pm, 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm). The location is TBD (I’ll announce the exact spot soon!), and I’d love to photograph you!

It’s been awhile since I posted content and for that I apologize. Things got a little crazy after I graduated from the photography program.
Good news! I’m back in my home city and I’ve purchased my first camera, so there will be lots of content to look forward to.

For now enjoy this picture I took this afternoon of my fur baby 🐕🍁

“Silenced: The Censorship Series“

They told us what to think, then burned the rest. This series is for the stories buried, the voices silenced, and the truths filtered out by fear, power, and control.
How much of what we see is real… and how much are we meant to believe?

This photoshoot is very special to me for multiple reasons. One being that this was my last (scheduled) shoot as a student in this program. Another being the topic I chose for my thematic submission for my final portfolio.

The topic of propaganda has been something I think about every time I open a news article or see headlines. I have been intrigued on this topic since my high school geography class, when we started learning about censorship in the media. I knew I wanted to use my form of art as a way to standup and speak out on this topic.

I handcrafted the backdrop from newspapers, modge podge, a bed sheet. Then added moody lighting and a simplistic feel within the models clothing.
