I adore documentary family photography because there is nothing posed, nothing planned, you and your people just living. I get to notice all the beautiful moments and details and capture them for you to hang on to.

If I were to ask you to pose a certain way, or stand in a spot, I believe, all that magic is stripped away. I want your photos to be a marvelsome representation of your real life.

While we are at it! 🎶 I’ve had the honour of capturing a few artists this past summer. ☀️

One of them being — Megan Paige, local singer-songwriter. Her music — as real and grounded as she is. Megan doesn’t rely on bells and whistles in her songs—just raw talent, honest lyrics, and a voice that carries truth in every note. Her songs cut through the noise with a quiet power, offering listeners something rare, authentic and beautiful to listen to.

Not one, but two. 🩷🩷

When I found out I was having fraternal twins ten years ago my jaw hit the floor. It does not run in our family. Ten years later, my jaw hit the floor again. My little sister, ten years younger than I, was pregnant with her own set of twins, hers identical.

How amazing that I can answer her twin questions and snuggle two babies again. Frankly I’m just so happy she needs a little help!
