Uncertainty has always been the consistent part of our story.

When we arrived almost 7 years ago from Manila 🇵🇭 we had no friends waiting for us outside the airport, no family waiting for us in an apartment. We had to borrow someone else's phone to call a cab. And we prayed that our Air B&B is not a scam listing.

At 2am, our luggages were witnesses as we embraced the unknown. Our hearts were both excited and scared.

Fast forward to now, we are still navigating so much unknown spaces. But we show up scared with our curious hearts. We try again and again.

Life was not never about arriving somewhere and being comfortable. Life will always be about living with courage right here, right now, during uncertain times.

Running a creative business also means doing the not so creative tasks. 😅

There is research work, admin work (taxes, invoices, payments and all the fun stuff 🙃) find and apply for grants (and get heartbroken if you don't get it and try again), client meetings, coordinate shoot schedules and so much more!

Plus we make social media posts if we still have the energy😅

It requires discipline and determination so you can do more creative work✌🏽

Opening a business is hard, opening a business in rural Canada, more than 10,000 kms away from your home country is a different story.

We moved from Manila 🇵🇭to Unama'ki-Cape Breton Island 🇨🇦 almost 7 years ago with no friends and family around. Then we decided to open a visual storytelling company.

It is a path that we are still navigating but we embrace the good, the bad and the uncertain. 😅

It can be scary for sure. But we show up anyway.
