Hey everyone, I think it is long overdue that I properly introduce myself.

I’m Rick, the person behind Family Lens Films.

I’m a husband to my incredible wife, Jaleesa, a proud dad to our two daughters, Madison and Vienna, and a proud (but sometimes frustrated!) dog dad to our puppy, Finnigan. Family is at the centre of everything I do and the inspiration behind this journey.

What began as a love for storytelling, music, and capturing moments with my own family, I started realizing how powerful film can be, not just to document a day, but to preserve the little moments that seem small now, but mean everything later.

More and more, I’m realizing how meaningful it is to hear the voice of someone you love, especially when it’s been a long time since you’ve heard it. Video has a way of preserving people, emotions, and moments. That’s something that has really stayed with me.

That’s what Family Lens Films is all about.

My goal is simple: create films that feel real, emotional, timeless, and genuinely you.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported this new chapter already. Whether you’ve booked with me, shared a post, recommended my work, or simply followed along, thank you. It truly means a lot.

I’m excited for what’s ahead, especially with 7 weddings coming up this wedding season. I can’t wait to tell more stories, meet more amazing people, and continue building something meaningful for me, my family and my community. 🎥💛
