So my dad sent a whole album of old photos and I’m in awe of time 🥲
My new episode for my podcast focuses on self forgiveness, and looking at the pictures of my younger self had me thinking of using my past as a foundation - to ground myself as I navigate going forward. It’s like while there is an element of understanding/awareness on the harm you’ve inflicted on yourself in the present moment, but at the same time there’s also naïveté especially with not fully comprehending what’s going to happen in the future. I elaborate more in the episode but the point I’m trying to make here is that this photo acts as a reminder to be more self compassionate despite the expectations I have of myself.
(The picture also reminds me that I’m cool asf but that’s a side note🥴)
