Marlie at four weeks old

During my sessions I often think of the day these babies are going to be looking back at these photos of when they were so small. How their parents will tell them the story of how they came to be, and what life was like during those days.

I really love looking back at older photos of myself, when I was a baby, a toddler, even last year. My favourite thing to note is how the styles have changed. Baby clothes have definitely gotten a more fashionable upgrade!

All this to say, I really, really love newborn sessions

These are for your memories, so if they’re important to you, then they’re worth documenting, right?

Newborn sessions don’t need to be stressful; there’s no rush, buffer time is built into the session for feedings, changing, and general soothing.
