Savanna moved to Port Colborne from Brantford the summer before grade 10. Just before school started, Savanna met Phelan briefly at a local park. They were both with separate friends and crossed paths. Upon school starting, Phelan and Savanna met again in grade 10 French class. Savanna met new friends who were also Phelan's friends and began hanging out. Shortly after, they became a couple. Savanna and Phelan learned how to drive together, won prom king and queen, graduated high school and college/university, bought a home, obtained dream careers and more with each other side by side. Savanna and Phelan have been together for almost 12 years now.

Some weddings feel like a wedding.

And then there are weddings that feel like a movie. 🎞️

Daiana and Marc’s was definitely the latter.

As huge lovers of photography and film, they wanted their day to feel honest, nostalgic, imperfect, and alive. So we told their story through digital, film, and Super 8.

And then came the thunderstorm.

The sky opened up, the weather went wild, and instead of worrying about their outfits or the timeline, Daiana and Marc simply embraced it.

So we ran with it.

We photographed through the rain, chased pockets of light, and let the day unfold exactly as it was meant to.

Because you can plan the timeline, the portraits, and every detail of the day.

But you can’t plan the feeling.

And that’s what we wanted to preserve for them: the laughter, the chaos, the storm, the quiet moments, and everything in between.

Not just photographs of what their wedding looked like, but a little time capsule of what it felt like.

And honestly, they lived every second of it. 🤍

Alexaa & Shy 🤍🌊

Okay, I have to tell you about this one…

Alexis and Shy wanted a beach engagement session, and they came to me with a Pinterest board full of inspiration. We had a vision, we had the beach, and we crossed our fingers that everything would come together the way we imagined.

Well… I think we may have just outdone the Pinterest board. 🥹✨

Everything about this session felt so effortless — the beach, the light, the way these two looked at each other, and all those little in-between moments that you can’t really plan.

There’s something so special about photographing couples who are completely themselves in front of the camera. Alexis and Shy made it so easy to capture the love between them, and honestly, I could have photographed them all day.

I think we can officially say this Pinterest board came to life… and maybe even got a little better. 🤍🌊✨
